Beach Racing Stables is located at Anna Bay, NSW Australia.
Our training track, Birubi Beach stretches for 32 kilometres from Anna Bay to Newcastle.
I have found that beach training in a straight line places less stress on the horses system.
This allows me to maximize each horse's potential with far less risk of injury than for those trained on a conventional track.
The horses are also walked in the surf after each workout to cool down. This has proved invaluable, especially with older raceway horses with leg problems.

Abbe returns in style
Promising 4 year old Tuscan Abbe returned to the racetrack with an emphatic all the way win at Newcastle International Paceway on Saturday night.
Tuscan Abbe made the news for entirely different reasons earlier in the year, when it was revealed she was actually an intersex mare, posessing both male and female reproductive organs.
Disqualified from racing in Fillies and Mare only events, Abbe continued on her winning ways, accounting for the all colts and geldings field with ease on Saturday.
